Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

If Barack comes out vocally and much more strongly in support of a public option, then they'll have no choice.

Obama is not like me, he is pragmatic, that is why I adore him, let's give him time to solve the problems. RDS, you and I are impatient, aren't we? The thing is; we are reasonable and that is why we support him.

I really feel like he needs to stop being so.... 'soft'.(not only in this situation, but as well with the opposition-it seems that is the only way they will ever respect him...)

But the public option does'nt go far enough(IMO). Especially in a time where people are without income, jobs, and are losing everything.

I feel exactly the same... and then I stop and remind myself where we were a year ago...

... and where we want to be in ten years...

... ... and I wonder if perhaps Barack Obama knows something I do not...

Bob,

I feel the same way. Every time I think I wish he would grow a pair and put his foot down I know he must have a reason but sometimes...
